Sparky (2244) - Phoenix, Arizona, USA - JUL 3, 2009
On tap at the Phoenix Desert Ridge location. Pours a slightly hazy amber with a one finger creamy off-white head. The nose is ripe citrus and malt. The taste is caramel malt, ripe citrus and tart grapefruit in the finish that lingers for awhile. Medium mouthfeel. Decent IPA. alexsdad06 (11238) - West Chester, Ohio, USA - JUL 5, 2008
Draught @ Rock Bottom. Pours a clear dark golden in color with a medium sized off white head. The aroma is light moderately sweet toasted malts and citrus hops with a hint of pine. The flavor is pretty well balanced between toasted malts and the citrus and pine hops. Medium bodied and easy to drink. This could be the best they have right now. On draft from Rock Bottom La Jolla. Arrives a clear, golden-amber color with a thin, creamy white head that leaves traces of lace. Crisp, C-hop aroma, citrus rind, piney and floral notes, light grainy malts present as well. Toasty malt backbone in the flavor, with a healthy hop bite featuring astringent herbs, evergreen, grapefruit rind with white pepper in the finish. medium body with assertive carbonation. Nice little West Coast IPA from Rock Bottom. bitbucket (2166) - Kirkland, Washington, USA - JUN 11, 2008
On tap at RB Bellevue. Pours clear dark gold with a lacy white head. Sweet aroma of grapefruit and fruit. Body is on the light side, and so is the carbonation. Lightly sweet taste with citrus, some toffee and flowers. Bitter, dry pine and floral finish. I wouldn’t complain if it had a bit more body, which would tend to make it not as dry. but all in all a good beer. shigadeyo (3820) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - JUN 11, 2008
6/10/2008: American Dream is above average this year. It is a shiny gold IPA that is slightly has an sports a small, off-white head on top. Citrus (orange, tangerine, grapefruit) pops from the aroma and flavor at first and then gives way to some toasty honey maltiness. The hop and malt are well balanced and there is only a mild to moderate level of bitterness. This medium-bodied beer is smooth, soft on the palate, and quite sessionable. Overall this would be a great Pale Ale as it is a little bit too weak for a full IPA. Regardless, it is pretty tasty and does a nice job of showcasing the Amarillo hop.

Draught (2 mugs) at Rock Bottom in downtown Cincinnati, Ohio Rating #7 for this beer...
On draft at RB Cincy of course.BOLTZ7555 (3028) - Phoenix, Arizona, USA - JUN 7, 2008
Pours a golden amber in color with a nice inch of frothy head. Smell is subdued, but there are some piney, grassy hop notes in the nose.
The hops show up more in the taste. This is a decent IPA. Easily the best thing they have going at the brewery. A little disappointing on the smell, but pretty good in flavor.
On tap @ Arrowhead. This is mighty tasty!!! Nice orange blossom hop aroma. Flavor is nicely balanced between citrus and pine...just enough sweetness to counter the hop bitterness. A pretty solid offering. GMUcrew7 (577) - Mason, Ohio, USA - JUN 6, 2008
Pours yellow with a hint of orange with off-white head that dissipates quickly and leaves a little lacing behind. Very nice citrus and pine hop aromas. Very well balanced beer, starts with good malty sweetness and finishes with the citrusy hops. Has a good bitterness at the finish and a nice smooth palate, a very good beer, probably the best from the cincy rock bottom. Jimrbb (16) - USA - APR 9, 2008

Draft at RB-Denver during GABF weekend. Orange-amber with a thin but well-laced foamy top. Buttery maltiness, almost nutty, with moderate hoppiness. Still carbonated when almost gone. Decent if standard IPA. Definitely quaffable. (#3136, 10/12/2007)
