Tap ad brewhouse. Clear dark mahogany brown with a small off-white head. Doesnt smell like much. The flavor exhibits a solid nut quality, some woodyness, and a pleasant and surprising hop bite on the end. Slightly dry hoppy finish. Solid, simple session beer. maniac (3800) - Baltimore, Maryland, USA - SEP 27, 2010

Draft at RB Arlington. Pours a deep brown with crimson highlights. Nose is sweet and cocoa with a kiss of roast. No hop presence in nose. On taste, full bodied, though flavor is lacking. It’s sweet, as expected, but lacks depth. Okay. radagast83 (8137) - Arlington, Virginia, USA - MAY 7, 2010

It’s a decent brown, but it just doesn’t bring a ton of excitement to the table, I think it’s better then the Brown Bear Brown...
Sampled on draft at the brewery. Pours a clear reddish brown color with a medium head. Good head retention and lacing. Aroma of caramel and bitter, leafy hops. Taste is very dry with nutty notes, caramel and bitter hops. Medium bodied. Best beer of the visit.
