3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
I tasted this APA in Bethesda as I watched my friend be dragged to the dance floor by a sloppy, drunken, horny women 20 years older than him. That scene made this ale even better, as it is a very drinkable pale ale. Oh yeah, and by the way, he got a sloppy horny drunken kiss for his efforts.
A very hazy pour, with decent lacing and a minuscule head. The aromas were quite faint, which I found to be disappointing. Decent tasting beer and served fresh. There is a slightly bitter astringency in the taste of this beer that degrades the drinkability and overall enjoyment. Not a bad brew, but basically, it’s bland, average, and non-offensive. Reviewed from notes. On tap at the Rock Bottom in Bethesda, MD.
Pours a slightly-hazy orange color bordering on copper. The nose brings some citrus, orange, and light pine notes as well as some pale malt. The taste is slight brad and caramel with some moderate hop bitterness from orange and pine. Medium body with good carbonation. Nose is particularly hoppy, but the rest is only moderately good.
Serving type: on-tap

Clear orange yellow pour. Slight malt and hop aroma. Bitter malt with citrus and pine hops. Hops don’t overpower. Good balance. Decent and easy to drink pale ale. ben4321 (6673) - Hoboken, New Jersey, USA - MAY 13, 2009
Location: I venture into the Rock Bottom Bethesda every now and again because it is so close, this is one of their standard offerings, and I’ve had it a few times on tap

A pretty dull Pale Ale, I mean it isn’t terrible, but it just doesn’t do much for me.
From draught sample at Bethesda. Little bit of light hops aroma. Some fruity character and light malt sweetness. Pale golden amber clear with thin white head. Medium watery body with medium carbonation. Starts with a bit of malt, caramel and some biscuit. Not a lot of sweet taste, though. Pretty good bittering, a bit fruity but mainly a medium bitter finish with light chalky after. Salty. alexanderj (3605) - Branson, Missouri, USA - AUG 1, 2007
On draft in Bethesda. Poured a light orange/dark gold, not much head. Good aroma of citrus and flowers; slightly sweet. Flavor was mellow and good. Good balance, not overly hoppy. Flavors of grapefruit, floral and malt. chriso (7586) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - JUL 16, 2007
On tap at the Bethesda location, July 2006. ABV not stated. Slightly hazy dark gold colour. Plenty of grapefruit and some floral touches. Not particularly assertive but a repectable, easy drinking APA.

Draft at the brewery. A bit of a simple pale ale, oily hop resin, pine and light honey or fruit flavors and scents . Reminds me of SNPA at times, though not as sweet and not as tasty. Wet, oily palate, simply made but made well, my only complaint other than it being unexciting is the mild soffy grain flavor noticed at times. BückDich (5464) - McCall, Idaho, USA - OCT 3, 2006
Draught at Brewpub during RBSG DC 06 Weekend
Bronze color, thin head, nice lacing. Nose of cascade, light dry malt malt. Earthiness. The flavor is balanced, nice hopping level and a medium body, lingering in the finish. Decent.
