2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
On tap at FoBAB. Poured clear brighter golden with a dusting of beige head. The aroma picked up pale malts and lesser fruits with a whole helluva lot of barrel influence (sharp bourbon and oak above all else).. abrasive. The flavor had a cleanser-like character with plenty of bourbon.. vanilla and oak accents as well.. almost honey-like sweetness joined pale malts in support.. strong finish with few redeeming qualities. Sharp overall on the palate with poor balance between sweetness and boozage.. didn’t care for this one.
