COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This Northern German style of lager is a favorite of everyone who loves very flavorful beer that you can drink a lot of. This particular version is loaded with Mt. Hood and Vanguard hops which give this beer a snappy, herbal, and hoppy aroma. Loads of imported pilsner malt from Germany make this beer malty delicious.

Draft at RBC. Pours a pale gold with a persistent white head. The nose is grassy and herbal hops with a robust pilsner malt profile. Nice. On tasting, big pils malt character then a huge bitterness, on the harsh side. Too minerally as well. Good hop and malt flavor overall but the bitterness mitigates that.

On tap at the Oak Park Micro Brew & Food Review, and dispensed to my fest glass with a slightly hazed, golden hue, a modest bubbles & froth, white head, and spots & streaks of lacing. The nose was light Pils malt, a hint of maize, and a touch of noble-like spiciness. The body was light, the carbonation was lively, and the flavor boasted a hop bitterness that was aggressive yet favorably earthy and peppery. Crafted following Davin’s forte of crisp & clean.
