Draft at RBC. Deep brown in my Mug Club mug. Head kind of look like dishwater suds. Nice toffee in the nose with a hint of grain. Taste is bright and pretty bubbly. May be a little to gassy to be a true session ale, but I am not complaining. More malt and toffee-covered nuts as I drink further along. Would be nice with dinner. Draft at RBC. Pours a deep mahoggany with an offwhite head overall. Nose is toasty and cocoa with some soft floral notes and caramel. On tasting, quite dry overall, some nutty malt and a faint burnt popcorn note (scorching?). A bit thin bodied. More body would round this out and make it even more drinkable. Decent enough.
