On tap at the brewpub in Chicago. Pours a clear golden body with a medium white head. The aroma was mostly a sweet malt and bananas. The flavor was quite sweet; bananas, sweet cakes, and some rich malt. Too sweet for me, but not bad. Cornfield (5570) - Oak Forest, Illinois, USA - JUL 20, 2008
Only one place to head after spending the morning in court at the Daley Center - RB Chicago. New (to me) on tap that day was a Heller Bock of Doppelbock strength, brewed for Pete Crolwey & his bride’s first anniversary. (Congratulations!) It poured a clear, deep golden body with a tall head with loads of lace to follow. The aroma was mainly sweet, toasty malt. That sweetness was well balanced in the flavor by an herbal/grassy bitterness. I got a hit of alcohol in the back of my throat in the finish, but I’m not complaining. Good quaffable lager.hombrepalo (1971) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - MAY 27, 2008

On tap. Poured a golden color, lager looking with small white head. Aroma of candy, sharp and spicy. Taste was pretty average. some spices and hops. Smooth finish, a good summer beer I guess. I would pass on this one next time. User29624 (1683) - - MAY 21, 2008
On tap, pours clear gold with a white head. Nose is sweet malt and a little bit of spices. The flavor seemed a little sharp to me, maybe it was some of the spices but something about it just wasn’t right for me. It was a decent beer, but I probably wouldn’t get it again. Tap at Piece. clear and fruity. very refreshing, dark blonde color, mildly sweet and spicy. Nothing too out there, but still reasonable.
