clean yellow color, fluffy white head, lacy. malt and citric hops in the aroma. taste is malty, bready, and hoppy, but there is also a trace of corn syrup sweetness that is a touch off-putting. medium bodied, lightly bitter finish. not the best caft-brewed pilsner i’ve had, but secent enough. sampled at rockfest 2010. drewbeerme (3921) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - JUN 6, 2010
draft at mug club event, pours clr gold white head, nose of piney green hops fl is fresh fruity green grapefruit lemon orange citrusy finish. uber clean and dry finish and damn refreshing like a lagered nonwheat gumballhead. Awesome! 4.0. Lubiere (14196) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - MAY 30, 2010
drank several more pours a few days later and the Amarillo hop character just fell off that fast. in 2 days! what was left behind was a more straight forward german pilsner that still tasted great. clean and extremely drinkable, i want this every day! 3.8.
A blonde pils with a thin white head. An interesting aroma of funky hops, veering on a Belgian IPA, floral and meaty. In mouth, a very funked up interpretation, with rather intriguing mix of belgian hops anb Brett, biscuitty malt, just delicious. Thanks Pete. On tap at Rockfest April 25 2010. Sampled on tap at RockFest (Chicago, IL). Pours a nice golden pour, faint haze, a big creamy offwhite head that laces well. Aromas are amarilla, grapefruit and gumballs, a touch of lemon, grass, pilsner bready malts. Initial is lighter, a good dose of grapefruit, lemon, and spice, with grass, pilsner bready malts, dough, grainy cereal. Finish is decent bitter, clean grainy malts. Tasty, a bit better than the CBC Pils with the livelier American hops. jsf23mr (218) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - MAY 2, 2010

Pours a bright yellow with a medium white head. Smell is citrusy..lemon . Taste is bitter and fruity, but goes down easy. Refreshing.
Draft at the Mug Club tapping, RBC. Sad to see Pete go, but I have a feeling that RBC will be left in good hands. Plus, Pete gets his dream. Anyway, pours a quite pale yellow with fluffy white head. Nose is spicy, slight citrus notes and big Pils malt notes. Taste is intensely bitter and clean with light Amarillo fruity notes. Pretty damn tasty pils and a bit different. Nice.
