On tap at Rock Bottom Chicago. Poured cloudy pinkish-golden with a short cap of off-white head. The aroma picked up sweeter raspberry seeds and tangy wheat over a pale malt base.. airy, dusty yeast around. The flavor found tangy raspberry seeds and spicy wheat over pale malts.. smelled sweeter than it tasted.. solid use of the berries. Medium-ish bodied and refreshing from the wheat and berries.. dry and well-balanced. User29624 (1683) - - MAY 25, 2009
Pours a pinkish orange, with a decent size head. Aroma of grain and a lot of raspberries. Good raspberry flavor and finish. Decent. I had this after a bourbon beer...so flavor probably got killed by it a bit. NobleSquirrel (3438) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - MAY 18, 2009
Draft at RBC. Pours a pinkish orange with fluffy head. Nose is, well, raspberries. The beer itself is quite one dimensional, pretty dry and grainy with distinct raspberry taste that contributed a tart afterthought. Not awful, just kind of bland. dm9831 (1512) - Monee, Illinois, USA - MAY 6, 2009
cloudy orange, medium white head, some lace, nose of razzzzzzberries! flavor is perfume, raspberry, perhaps a fizzy touch of grain. medium bodied, fruity finish. perfumey after taste. i am not a fruit beer fan, but this one is a bit better than usual. on tap @ RBC brewpub.
