(Cask) Pours a murky orange body with a small bubbly white head. Aroma of floral, dried apricot, coriander, and clove. Flavor of apricot, floral, light lemon, and herbs. BBB63 (6557) - La Porte, Indiana, USA - AUG 25, 2008
REAL ALE TENT @ GTMW 2008: Hazy golden hue with minimal head. YEP the aroma is apricots! There is also some pepper, wheat, coriander, clove and earthy yeast esters as well. The taste is twangy and fruity at first followed by some wheat and bready malts, A very yeasty finish. The mouth feel is soft and smooth, a touch thin. A very nice beer with the spice character in reserve and the fruit is there but not overpowering. MIBRomeo (2570) - Wisconsin, USA - AUG 16, 2008
On cask at GTMW.
Murky pour off orange color hints of brown whispy white head. Avg pal. Amazing flavor lightly sweet bread w/ almost a honey on it light fruits come through with a nice sweet apricot. A light corriander shows up. Very nice for a hot day. GeneralGao (3614) - Iowa City, Iowa, USA - AUG 16, 2008
GTMW ’08, served from the cask. Poured a cloudy medium orange color. The head was large cask-poured white soap bubbles. Smelled of tangy fruit (apricot), pastry, subdued baking spices, and a bit of pear. Medium bodied and slightly sweet with very low carbonation. Tasted of yeasty bread dough, apricot, and citrus fruit (especially orange). Tasty. Philip (436) - Illinois, USA - AUG 12, 2008
Great Taste 2008. One of the more refreshing and palate cleansing beers I enjoyed of the festival, and another one that does the fruit beer style well. I would call this more fruit than saison, as the finish is very apricot, although it manages to not be cloying. Notes of grass, lemon, and ginger blend with ripe apricot. The fermented apricot phenols are certainly there in the nose as well. Great stuff, and another nice beer from Rock Bottom Chicago.

Cask at GTMW. Poured hazy peachy golden with a loose dusting of white head. The aroma had a great sweet and sour contrast with apricots responsible for both.. there was a rather non-descript pale malt base that let the fruit shine. The flavor had tangy apricot skins over a sweeter fruity base.. touches of lemon zest and light spices graced the edges.. very tasty! Drier and lighter-bodied on the palate with excellent balance.. refreshing. 1FastSTi (3360) - Glendale, Wisconsin, USA - AUG 12, 2008
Real ale cask. The beer pours to a murky pale yellow straw body with no head. Nice crisp clean fruity apricots. Subtle tartness with tons of fruity pectin. Flavor is amazing with an extreme sweet and balanced apricot. Delicious.
