RAF. Aged in Bourbon barrels. Pretty dark with a nice head. The aroma was dominated by the bourbon. Flavor is pretty good. Plenty of bourbon and oak, some vanilla, toast, chocolate, and bitter coffee. A pretty decent stout, I should have had it without the bourbon barrel, just to get a better idea of what this really tastes like. Whoa - this smacks of alcohol and has a gorgeous beige head that's pretty to gaze at. Not much aroma, oddly enough. This brew is quite bitter (as it should be) with gobs of roasty malt to sink your chattering teeth into (it's 20 degrees outside in Chicago right now!). Enjoyable.
