On tap at Rock Bottom Chicago. Poured hazy deeper golden with a sticky cap of off-white head. The aroma was spicy with dry toasted bananas, apricot skins, and a faint touch of honey.. cloves and white pepper rose with warmth.. very well presented. The flavor had pale malt and light honey at the core with lots of spicage around.. well-balanced between the sweet and spicy elements.. long, refreshing spicy finish. About medium-bodied on the palate with lively carbonation.. spicy and toasty.. yeasty and engaging. Excellent brew! drewbeerme (3920) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - JAN 4, 2009
on tap at RB Chicago, i found this brew thirst quenching but after 6oz i had enough, a sharp citrusy bite hit with yeasty, wheaty and spicy notes. something about this didn’t meld well. dm9831 (1512) - Monee, Illinois, USA - DEC 17, 2008

On tap at the brewpub - Nice drinkable brew. It was a slightly hazed golden beer with a fluffy white head. The aroma was yeasty and had fresh peaches and cherries, to boot. These blended well with a spicy pale malt flavor and a mild bitterness that appeared near the finish. Nice. Happy Anniversary, Rock Bottom Chicago! User29624 (1683) - - NOV 27, 2008
I am going off a foggy memory of this one since I had pre ratebeer going down a couple of times. Pours a hazy gold with a medium head. Aroma of some yeast, coriander, and some other spices. Well balanced. I enjoyed it.
