Draft at Rock Bottom Cincy from notes. Pours a clear amber/copper color with a medium sized off white head. The aroma and flavor had citrus and piney hops, grapefruit, pale malts, a hint of caramel, moderate bitterness, perhaps a bit thin, but the flavors were decent enough. drfabulous (8677) - Lexington, Kentucky, USA - FEB 10, 2013
Draught at brewery. Is this the same as Double Down? Orange pour with nice balance of malt and pine. Some sweetness. Citrus and tropical fruit to it as well. Pretty tasty. Chudwick (3393) - Taylor Mill, Kentucky, USA - JAN 21, 2013
Draft - pours lighter than the ipa but the rest is the same. Nose is citrus and pine with hints of cat pee. Far more caramel than the ipa. More of a grapefruit presence as well. More complex than the ipa. DrSilverworm (9672) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - SEP 11, 2012
Sample on tap at Cincy Brewfest. Minimal khaki off-white head, a web on the surface. Good lace. Mostly clear amber color. Nice crisp lighter carbonation. Dry texture. Nice big piney assertive hop flavor. Totally American-style. Grassy, resin. Good bitterness, but not over-the-top. No alcohol bite. Saitsfying DIPA. Good caramel body, bready malt after the hops, good balance. Pawola22 (3262) - Woodridge, Illinois, USA - AUG 21, 2012
On tap at the brewpub in Cincinnati, OH. This is different than their original "American Dream IPA." Pours a cloudy orange-gold colored body with a finger-width, creamy, off-white head that dissipates slowly and leaves a solid lacing. Aroma is sweeter floral hops and caramel with some citrus pineapples and oranges, light pine resins, and a touch of bread. Flavor is similar. Sweeter caramels, pineapple and orange florals and pines, a touch of bread, and some resins. Finishes dry and on the sweeter side with some slightly sugary, resiny citruses and a nice caramel sweetness. Medium bitterness and a light alcohol warmth following a medium-thin body and a moderate carbonation. Overall, a pretty solid DIPA and a pleasant surprise. Nice floral and pine resin, citrus sweet hopping with a well balanced caramel. A tad thin, but enjoyable.

Draft. Poured hazy copper color with an average frothy off-white head that was mostly lasting with excellent lacing. Medium sour citrus hop aroma. Medium body with a slick texture and soft carbonation. Medium to heavy smooth bittesweet flavor with a medium to heavy bittersweet finish of moderate to long duration. My expectations where met.
