3/14/2012: Rock Bottom Queen of Hops... Aroma: This beer smells like a glass full of freshly squeezed white grapefruit! Amazing! Appearance: Bight, pale lemon-yellow color topped with a thin white head. Flavor: RED GRAPEFRUIT hoppiness abounds and is so damn tasty! Mild toffee malt supports the amazing fresh citrus flavor and generous bitterness. Palate: Medium-light body; calm, smooth mouthfeel. Overall: FANTASTIC beer that really shows off the wonder Amarillo hop it all it’s glory; DAMN TASTY!

4oz on tap in a plastic taster at Listermann’s Oktoberfest. Golden orange color. Good off-white head, leaves decent lace on the side of the plastic taster. Good citrusy, tangerine hop. Medium plus body. Smooth, lighter, kind of crisp carbonation. Lightly slick. Moderate to bigger bitter taste, light to moderate sweet, kind of zesty. Solid west coast style IPA. alexsdad06 (10581) - West Chester, Ohio, USA - SEP 29, 2014
Draft at Rock Bottom Cincinnati. Pours a clear golden color with a small off white head. The aroma and flavor have pale wheat malts, grass, light toast, big grapefruit citrus, some peel, moderate bitterness through the finish, a pretty solid offering. Taster at beerfest - nose is pine and citrus. Sip adds malty backbone which more prominent than in most IPAs but still still quite bitter. Fruity aftertaste. Quite delicious. phaleslu (10454) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - SEP 4, 2014
Draft at RB-Cincinnati. They’re reviving some of these long-dormant recipes, apparently. I might need to unretire some more of them on here. Anyway, this one pours a cloudy gold with a finger of lasting off-white head that leaves heavy sticky lace. Notes of grapefruit, grass, wheat, straw, florals, lemon zest, dry grains, and leaves. Light-medium bodied, with a burst of initial carbonation that smooths out. Bitterness lingers after the finish. Pretty good IPA.

Deep golden color out of the tap. Sticky off white head. Thin tropical fruit and orange citrus nose. Fresh hop flavors of orange juice, tangerine, marmalade, and white toast. Long tropical fruit finish. Light, juicy IPA. Tmoney99 (14752) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - APR 7, 2011
Draft. Poured a cloudy copper color with an average frothy white head that mostly lasted with excellent lacing. Moderate earthy hop aroma. Medium body with a slick texture and soft carbonation. Medium to heavy bittersweet flavor with a medium bittersweet finish of moderate duration. I would recommend this to a freind.
