[Tap at Rock Bottom, Denver] A hazy amber beer with a fine but collapsing lazing white head. The aroma is slightly hoppy, while the flavor contains a nice amount of aroma hops, that makes it very flowery besides the notes of honey. joergen (29625) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - OCT 17, 2008

Bottle from Rock Bottom in Denver: Pours a clear pale amber color with a medium bone white head that has good retention. Thin spotty lacing. Citrus and hops in the aroma. Medium-bodied and mildly hoppy with an off malt flavor crashing the party right away. The stale malt and vinegar flavor is becoming an all-too-familiar trend with these beers. The finish is bitter but not in a flavorful way. Rock Bottom is either keeping their bottles way past expiration or they just don’t travel well. Either way this was another letdown. Rock Bottom downtown Denver. Pour reddish brown with a nice lasting white head. Aroma of malt, caramel, floral hops, little grapefruit. Taste of caramel, grapefruit, orangepeel. Medium body and carbonation. Okies good pale, allthough abit on the sweet side for me. 030311
(Draught) Pours a clear copper body with a medium off-white head. Aroma of caramel, orange, florals, and grass. Flavor of caramel, citrus, and biscuit. onceblind (10905) - Denver, Colorado, USA - MAR 2, 2011
Clear medium hued orange. Aroma is spicy with a touch of green pepper with light toffee notes. Taste looses the green pepper (good) but is plenty hoppy without being resinous or imbalanced. Spicy-citrus with a load of crystal malts, sweet with a dry hopped grassy/floral finish. Definitely their best "normal" beer. On tap @ Rock Botton Denver, post-GABF 2008 night #2. A staple at the bar, clearly. Slightly hazy orange-amber. Sweet caramel and floral hop aroma. Toasty caramel malts, bitter floral and citrus hops in moderation. A good session beer to be sure.
