Sampled at the brewpub. Bright amber with an off white ring. A gentle but fairly complex fruity nose. A bitter first sip. Grapefruit. Deep resonant bitterness. Rich pine hop flavors. This is dry. An off after taste. Resiny. hayduke (5203) - Eureka, California, USA - SEP 26, 2015

Typical pale ale. Fairly clear, nice palate and co2. Average taste. Just regular. Steve_0 (3745) - Denver, Colorado, USA - SEP 12, 2014
On tap at the Downtown Denver location. Pour is clear golden with a big white head and great lacing. Grapefruity, orangey, light lemons, caramelly, some bread, and grassy hops in the aroma. Taste is bitter grass, biscuit, some doughy malt, light lemon, and orange peels with a medium bitter finish. Medium body with high carbonation. Standard IPA. rougeau13 (3008) - Richmond, Texas, USA - APR 23, 2011
UPDATED: MAR 29, 2016 Tap at Rock Bottom in the Denver airport. Clear orange-amber with a moderate off-white head. Aroma dominated by citrus with notes of caramel and herbs. Taste is malty and slightly sweet with a mild bitterness. Medium bodied. Pretty good stuff, especially for an airport.

Tap @ brewery. Burnt orange appearance with a light tan head. Sweet, citrusy, slightly piney hoppy nose. Lightly piney hoppy flavor with a good pale malty body with citrus. Slightly hoppy finish. Camons (12438) - Hasselager, DENMARK - MAR 4, 2011
Tap@ Rock Bottom downtown Denver. Pour reddish brown with a nice lasting white head. Aroma of malt, caramel, floral hops, little grapefruit. Taste of caramel, grapefruit, orangepeel. Medium body and carbonation. Okies good pale, allthough abit on the sweet side for me. 030311 onceblind (9627) - Denver, Colorado, USA - MAR 2, 2011
Clear medium hued orange. Aroma is spicy with a touch of green pepper with light toffee notes. Taste looses the green pepper (good) but is plenty hoppy without being resinous or imbalanced. Spicy-citrus with a load of crystal malts, sweet with a dry hopped grassy/floral finish. Definitely their best "normal" beer. nickd717 (4679) - San Francisco, California, USA - JAN 3, 2011
On tap at the Denver airport. Hazy copper in color with a one finger white head that lasts. The aroma is subtle but nice with caramel malts and citrusy orangey hop notes. Very good flavor for Rock Bottom, with a good sweet caramel malt base, orange and grapefruit hops. The palate is as it should be, medium bodied, crisp, and clean with good carbonation level. Surprisingly solid overall, but not great in the big scheme of things. Beerona97 (2399) - Washington, USA - DEC 7, 2010
Pint at the Denver Airport restaurant. Clear gold, foamy white head. Aroma of grapefruit, pine needles, floral hops. Taste is mostly sweet malt and floral hops with less bitterness. This was great, tasted very fresh.
