3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
[On-tap at Rock Bottom Des Moines] Pours dark amber with a small, off-white head. Aroma is white wine (RB Milwaukee’s was aged in chardonnay barrels, so probably that is it), and slight funkiness. Lightly tart, and good fruitiness. The taste is very heavy on white wine, with a big blast of peach at the end. Medium mouthfeel, long, slightly dry finish. Overall, this could stand more funkiness and sourness, but I do like the white wine influence. Potential for an amazing beer with some tweaking.
