3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
On tap poured a dark black color with a nice tan head. Aroma was spicy tea with some chocolate and roast. Flavor was like drinking a chocolate tea with heavy chai spices. Not bad.

Spice aroma. Small beige head. Black with a spicy cinnamon flavour. Crisp and dry slightly bitter finish. kitschy (326) - Nebraska, USA - OCT 16, 2007
wow! Chai beer! with a little milk and ice we’d have a latte... great chai aroma and amazing chai flavor. I had no idea this was possible - a really nice suprise. Arayaga2 (2197) - portland, Oregon, USA - SEP 10, 2007
Blackish brown with a reddish brown head. Aroma is faintly spiced chai, but not particularly prominent. Taste is somewhat more reminiscent of pumpkin spices than chai, but with a heavy addition of ginger. Overall, a bit watery and insubstantial, but not bad. xproudfoot (750) - Paleolithic, Pennsylvania, USA - DEC 22, 2006
Served warm from the cask. Lots of chai in the aroma, weird tea-milky coconut-chocolate (mounds). Opaque brown with short light brown head. Dark chocolate coconut and chai tea, ginger/coffee. super smooth, light liquid, bitter roast finish. A nice idea, fun while it was novel; a bit tiresome by the end of the pint.
