Sampler Draft at brewpub. A fine example of the style, showcases the best of what this style can bring. This beer is perfect for a long, hot day when you want a thirst quencher with high drinkability but prefer more taste and complexity than the macros. There is a hint of hops in the nose, with small white head. This beer doesn’t bring out many flavors, but it is well balanced and is fuller than comparable light beers. A good craft beer gateway for non craft/import drinkers. shrubber85 (11452) - Greenville, Indiana, USA - JUN 8, 2016
Draft. Lemon, biscuit malt, and straw aroma. Pale yellow with moderate head. Moderately sweet lemon, biscuit malt, and mildly bitter hay flavor. Decent body. DJMonarch (9179) - Northwich, Cheshire, ENGLAND - JUL 10, 2009

Small white head. Some carbonation. Pale malt and hop aroma. Clear golden coloured and hoppy with a crisp and slightly dry malt finish. bu11zeye (13029) - Frisco (Dallas), Texas, USA - NOV 12, 2003
(Draught) Pours a pale yellow color with a white creamy head. Descent creamy tasting lager. jsquire (4514) - St. Marys, Ohio, USA - APR 30, 2008
Out of the sampler at the College Park brewpub. Foamy white head over a pale yellow beer. Light grain nose. Flavorful for a brewpub’s light offering. Light citrus peel, some sweetness, and an odd flavor that reminded me of baloney. Still a decent light beer.

Draught at RB Indy/Downtown. Hazy yellow with no head. Nose is sweet, light yeast and faint fruit - not much here! Malty and soft, but lightly dirty before resolving to a Nottingham-like bready aftertaste. Medium body a little full for style. Nothing really too off here, but I can’t get over the dirt. Tap at Rock Bottom Indy. Pours clear straw yellow with a spare, fizzy white head, low retention with flat lacing. Aroma is heavy malt (grainy, hay, straw), light hops (spicy), and light esters (apple/pear) with notes of corn. Flavor is heavy malt (grainy, hay, straw), light hops (spicy), and light esters (apple/pear) with notes of corn. Light body, low warmth and creaminess, high carbonation with a dry finish. Draft sampler at brewpub. Poured pale color with a minimal white head that diminished quickly. Light sweet citrus aroma. Light body with a watery texture. Light sweet flavor with a sweet short finish. Not something I would recommend to freind. Aurelius (5376) - Tallahassee, Florida, USA - MAY 16, 2007
Maybe it’s my imagination, but it actually has a slight jalepno aroma over light malt and corn. Strong hominy/grits cast. Very light hopping. Kinda tastes like a rice cake. Neutered and formulaic. drowland (8829) - Georgia, USA - AUG 14, 2009
Had on tap at the brewpub. Pretty much your average old light pale lager to tell you the truth.
