DiarmaidBHK (4269) - Lewisburg, Pennsylvania, USA - MAY 18, 2011
Some floral notes on the nose. Pours with a medium size head that leaves a lot of lacing. A lot of bitterness on the tongue that overshadows the hop flavor. The taste lingers for a while. Could use some more balance. Now if you ever get a chance to taste this stuff on cask its a lot more interesting. The nose is bolder and more articulated. There’s a lot more hop flavor on the tongue and it’s more balanced. My score reflects the cask.
