Pours light orange. Aroma of citrus and hops. Sweet, almost floral taste upfront with the bitterness at the back. Also some sugar cereal taste at the end that gets kicked back by hops. Full mouthfeel. Fairly standard IPA. Tap at brewery. tcane7 (1674) - Pennsylvania, USA - AUG 30, 2013
Draft at the brewpub. Pours a lightly cloudy orange with smallish white head and minimal lace. Nose of caramel, citrus, grass. Light to medium body. Decent flavor but tough to drink after the Simcarillo boxofrane (2553) - Spring City, Pennsylvania, USA - DEC 15, 2012
Draft at brew pub. Pours hazy orange with a small white head. There is plenty of carbonation in the glass. The aroma Is floral with a bit of orange citrus. The taste is medium bitter, a little dry, and the bitterness lingers on the tongue. Nice. DiarmaidBHK (4797) - Lewisburg, Pennsylvania, USA - MAY 18, 2011
Some floral notes on the nose. Pours with a medium size head that leaves a lot of lacing. A lot of bitterness on the tongue that overshadows the hop flavor. The taste lingers for a while. Could use some more balance. Now if you ever get a chance to taste this stuff on cask its a lot more interesting. The nose is bolder and more articulated. There’s a lot more hop flavor on the tongue and it’s more balanced. My score reflects the cask. alobar (3759) - Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA - MAR 26, 2011
Allegedly an award winner. Pours a clear copper color with a sweet caramel citrus aroma. Caramel flavor with citrus and floral hops flavor. Decent beer with good lacing.
