New England Bucket List Trip #247. Keg at the brewpub. Pours a hazy straw color with a thin creamy white head. Decent head retention. Aroma of citrus, wheat, mild spice. The taste is floral hops and sweet caramel malt. Medium bodied, mildly astringent. PhillyCraft (7739) - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - FEB 27, 2015
On tap with Al, pours hazy golden with medium white head and lace. Flavor is restrained from wit notes which is great, mostly rock salt, grapefruit, and peach hop funk. Smell has more wit but mostly dankness overall. Medium bodied, right amount of stickyness. chronictonic (472) - Oreland, Pennsylvania, USA - FEB 3, 2014
on tap - I normally don’t like cross-style beers like this (wheat IPA), but oh man I’m glad I tried this one. Pours a light straw hazy yellow with a white head. Aroma is a bit fruity and citrusy. Flavor is spot-on. Light body lets the hops shine through. Slight wheaty flavor makes it a very refreshing beer. Took two growlers of this home. On tap at KOP. They said this is a wheat IPA with citra hops. Pours a light hazed peach with a white head. Nose is pretty juicy citra hops all the way, a nice sweet kiss from the wheat, citrus rind and some pine. Mouth is nicely hop forward throughout, lots of good citrus flavors, and pretty dry on the finish. Sharper than most white IPAs, not messy at all. Feel is soft and pleasant, with ample carbonation. Yet another good one. callmemickey (4561) - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - DEC 30, 2013
Hazy straw yellow body, large creamy white head, soapy lacing. Wheat, lemon zest, light grass, yeasty spices (clove). Medium to light bodied, lively carbonation, refreshing.
