Had one with lunch yesterday and brought two growlers home. Probably one of my highest rated IPAs. Harkens back to my first tasting of the king of light bodied huge IPAs - 3 Floyds Dreadnaught. If you’re not a fan of Simcoe’s unique flavors then this one is definitely not for you. Huge fresh hop aroma - grapefruity and resiny. The malt plays a perfect supporting role in this beer - giving the hops a suitable structure while encouraging Simcoe to be the star of the show. Golden color with a medium head. Big hoppy aroma that screams "Simcoe" with a bit of malt in the background. Flavor is all floral and citrusy simcoe with just enough malt sweetness. Pretty damn good for RPKoP. ryandec (4) - Wayne, Pennsylvania, USA - FEB 25, 2012 does not count
Good head retention and lacing. Nice aroma, piny with a strong citrus overtone. Excellent well balanced beer.

Really nice IPA on draft at the KOP restaurant. The beer poured a golden color with a soft, pillow-like head. The head left some really nice, sticky lacing around the inside of the glass. The nose featured plenty of citrusy hops, as did the flavors. The hops were bright, bitter and spicy. Just a touch of caramel malt provided a delicious backbone for this IPA.

Sampled from a growler thanks to homebrew club buddy....DAMN! I could not believe the aroma on this IPA, full assault of citrus/pine hops on the nose. Beer is medium bodied hazy yellow with foamy head. Malt presence blends this beer well and surprisingly only medium bitterness. Hazy orange body, medium sized white head with dense lacing. Assertive piney and citric bitterness...pure simcoe goodness. Medium bodied, appropriate carbonation and a boatload of bitterness. A classic at Rock Bottom KOP. tcane7 (1674) - Pennsylvania, USA - FEB 6, 2014
Draft at the brewpub. Pours a murky orange with thin, quickly dissipating, white head and soapy lace. Nose of grapefruit, citrus, pine. Medium body. Nice fresh citrus hop flavor, moderate bitterness. Solid IPA. Could drink several TomDecapolis (4618) - Milton, Delaware, USA - FEB 1, 2007
Growler from the King of Prussia location. Pours a hazy golden orange with an average creamy white head that left some lacing. Aroma of orange peels, lemons, yeast, pine, bready and light caramel. Flavor was bready, caramel and lightly toasted malts, some pine and various citrus. Liked the malt and hop balance on this one. Nice IPA and nice use of the Simcoe. illinismitty (2271) - Nashville, Tennessee, USA - FEB 17, 2008
Draft at brewpup. Pours amber orange with a white head. Aroma of citrus/ floral hops. Medium bodied with an oily texture. The toffee esque pale malts are overpowered by a dry grapefruity bitterness. Long dry bitter finish with an emphasis on the bitter rind aspect of the grapefruity hops, and a small distracting amount of butter notes. Well done, but perhaps a tad too dry for my personal tastes. But good enough to repeat on my visit.
