This traditional red ale has a hint of rye malt to add to the body and flavor. It’s great with any of our Brewery Favorites.

Cloudy brown w/ an appricot aroma, very fruity, apricot flavor with a bitter hoppy finish

A: The beer pours amber in color with an off-white head. S: Fairly citrusy up front. However, the hops quickly fade away and the malt takes over. Toffee and caramel malt notes with a decent breadiness. Just a little bit of grass aroma in there as well. T: Flavor starts off fairly hoppy, too. Orange and tangerine provide some nice citrus and there is a little bit of pine and grass. Toffee, bread, and caramel provide the sweetness, which is the bulk of the flavor of this beer. M: Medium in body with a moderate level of carbonation. O: Pretty good amber/red ale. Nice array of flavors and easy to drink.

Very clear malt aroma a nice light red brew a tad dry on the finish may be due to the rye.

On tap. Pours with a fully lasting off-white head and a hazy amber body. Aroma is sweet with caramel and light fruit. Taste is fruity, light rye and caramel. Lively bubbles.

7th Feb 2017: tasted on a flight at the source, then had a 20 oz pour as I thought it was their best beer (not difficult to be honest). Anyway it is a red beer and although it had a mild Rye aroma and taste I enjoyed it’s flavourings. Malty with a good hop bitterness late in the mouth. Cheap too (was Happy Hour).

This is my favorite beer when I eat at Rock Bottom, it pours a redish brown color and has a light hoppy aroma. Flavor was bitter, kind of a fruity taste.

Nice robustish red ale with enough hop kick to save it from being confused for an alt. Perfect companion for the mahi tacos.

Clear copper color/ beige head. Leafy hop, caramel aromas. medium body. Fresh floral hop flavor with caramel, mild roasted nuts. not bad.

On tap at the brewery. Mild aroma, bit of hops and grist, caramel. Medium clear amber with thin lacing head. Medium body and carbonation. Starts medium sweet with nice caramel and crystal malt flavor. Strong hop character. Finishes nutty with medium bitterness - like an Irish pale ale. Bitter after.

The pour was a nice ruby color with a solid, two-finger off white head that created good lacing. The aroma was malt, spice, light hops. The flavor was light tart fruit, malt, spice and some dry hops. The mouthfeel was nice and the finish didn’t linger. Not bad.
