2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
4oz on tap at the Cincinnati location. This is labeled here as just "Light" ("Our cincinnati American light is a blond ale...")... Interesting that they call it an ale... ABV 4.8, OG 10.0. Bready aroma up front, not bad. Decent bit of doughiness to it, actually. Medium body. Kind of crisp, lighter to moderate carbonation. Light dry finish. Kind of pale golden color. Thin white head. Leaves decent webs of lace. Moderate bitter taste. Very light sweet, more dry. Solid light lager, more on the bitter dry side, but it has a good, clean bready aroma to it. b3shine (8875) - Indiana, USA - NOV 7, 2015
Draft to taster at the Cincinnati brewpub. Looks solid for the style; a completely transparent lighter gold with white head that steadily dissipates into lacing. Smells of mildly bitter hops and notes of yeast. A little biscuit as well. Tastes like it smells with a touch of caramel and a medium light-bodied mouthfeel. Underwhelming. maxwelldeux (4374) - Snohomish, Washington, USA - OCT 30, 2015
Draught in a flight from the Cincinnati Rock Bottom. Pours a clear light golden color. Nose has a lot of corn and grains to it. Taste is very slightly sweet, and moderately crisp. Not all that bad for a pale lager, but absolutely nothing special or worth noting. vizi25 (31) - Kentucky, USA - JAN 17, 2013
just your regular light beer not so much worth the price at a brewery just as much would drink a domestic light as this

On tap at the Ahwatukee location with clear gold body and micro thin white head. The aroma is sweet with sugary malts and a mild level of grainy malts and butterscotch. The taste is a bold and pleasing mix of lemon acidity and fresh grainy malts. It then gets sort of floral, malty and a touch butterscotch like too. The light butterscotch might be an off note but I do enjoy how it has mingled with the other notes in the flavor.

Tap @ Loveland location. Pours a very light pale yellow appearance with a light white colored head. Straw an grainy smelling aroma that exhibits the lager variety. Flavor is a pretty basic light straw tasting pale lager with not much on the finish or aftertaste. BlackForestCO (978) - Aurora, Colorado, USA - DEC 31, 2010
Labeled as 719 Light Lager at the Colorado Springs location. Poured a pale, clear yellow color with a moderate white head that receded to a layer. Aroma of light grass, pale malts, and a soft doughiness. Smooth, crisp entry with some light dough paired with a soft yeastiness that transitions into a lightly grassy hoppiness that lingers into the lightly bitter finish with light hints of lemon peaking through. Soft, crisp mouth feel combined with the low ABV made it an easy drinker. Overall, I am surprised to see such low scores if this is in fact the same beer as the database indicates it is. It was a simple beer that had just enough depth to remain interesting. MiP (15667) - Sønderborg, DENMARK - OCT 11, 2010
Draught, 4.0% at the Boston brewpub. Clear shiny yellow colour. Small white head. The flavour is subtle, but clean. Mild hay and low bitterness. Lubiere (13915) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - AUG 13, 2010
A pale golden lager with a thin white head. In aroma, a light non-descript malt with some light fruity esters. In mouth, a watery boring lager lacking malt, like mineral water. On tap at Rock Bottom Boston, July 1 2010. EricE (1367) - Seattle, Washington, USA - MAR 20, 2010
Very pale hazy yellow pour. Cereal malt aroma and flavor. Sweet with a bit of bitter hops on the finish. Unoffensive at best.
