On tap at Old Chicago in Eden Prairie, MN. Thick dark black pour, 1/4 inch head and an an aroma of spicy chai tea. Flavor it very nice and thick/creamy dark malt base and then more of the strong chai tea spice. Not much coconut here, but still pretty tasty nonetheless. I would order this again. changeup45 (1731) - Lake Mary, Florida, USA - JAN 2, 2012
UPDATED: JAN 9, 2012 750ml corked bottle from mattyb83. Pours near black with a thin tan head. Spicy, leafy, chai aroma with notes of milk, coconut, and chocolate. Very interesting! The flavors pretty much mirror the aroma. Smooth and creamy underneath the chai spice. The chocolate, creamy coconut, and a touch of roasted malt team up with the herbal spice incedibly well. This isn’t packed with alcohol, which I like. Silky smooth going down. A hint of ash in the finish rounds this off nicely. This is as interesting as it sounds but interesting doesn’t always mean good. It does in this case. Thanks Matt! LamarBurton (376) - California, USA - MAR 18, 2011
Winterfest 11. From notes. Wow, really interesting beer, that Rock Bottom pulled off beyond my expectations. One of the few that I sampled twice at Winterfest. Nice dark brown/nearly black pour, with a rocky head with huge bubbles...does the coconut milk effect the head formation? Still a pretty beer though. Aroma is crazy good, like a nice cup of chai, coconut, some chocolate, nice malt tones as well. A bit of smoke as well? Taste is much the same, with the coconut showing up a bit more. Mouthfeel is a bit thin. A very enjoyable beer. arminjewell (9584) - East Lansing, Michigan, USA - FEB 20, 2011
Winterfest ’11. Pours dark brown with a nice tan head. Aroma was big with some oats, touch of coconut, and a definite chai/spice note with hints of chocolate and roast. Taste is notes of mainly chai spice, some coconut, and some oat/roast to round it out. A bit sweet at the end, but overall a very interesting beer and well made. badgerben (5108) - Blaine, Minnesota, USA - FEB 7, 2011
Minnesota Winterfest 2011. Black color with a medium head. Full on chai aroma and taste. Cardamom, cinnamon, cloves and light coconut. Stout base provides a decent malty and roasted note for the spice delivery.

ABR 2010. A really good beer from Rock Bottom. Coconut in the aroma and flavor, but more chai than coconut. Roasted malt in the flavor as well. A black beer. Smooth palate, and a beer that is just a little thick. kbutler1 (1381) - North Carolina, USA - OCT 3, 2010
Draft at Autumn Brew Review. Was really excited to try this one today! Poured a nice deep brown color with a fluffy tan head. On nitro. The Chai really domintes the entire nose on this one. I really didn’t pick up any coconut notes in the nose. Medium mouthfeel with a nice creaminess provided by the nitro. Very root beer like feel. Malty chocolate taste with the chai mixed in. Overall, I really likes this one. A cool addition of chai that I haven’t seen before. mattyb83 (737) - Minnesota, USA - SEP 11, 2010
On tap. Pour is brown to black with a large khaki head. Aroma is filled with chai spice and some chocolate. Flavor is similar with chai up front with lingering chocolate flavors. Wow! This surprisingly works.
