Amber with soapy off-white head that dissipitates to minimum. Leaves lace, lots of it. Decent malt, and bitter secondary. Average or even slightly better mouthfeel and drinkable. A repectable amber ale. The local brewer here has certainly got his act together to produce respectable though not ambitious ale, which is as good as you can hope for.

Tap at Rock Bottom Minneapolis. Clear light amber pour with a small clingy white head. Slight caramel malt nose. Medium palate. Taste is slight caramel and earth. hopscotch (11439) - Vero Beach, Florida, USA - JUN 28, 2007
Draft... RBSG 07... Beautiful, clear amber lager with a small, fizzy, white head. I’m unable to pull much out of the glass, aroma-wise, except restrained acetaldehyde. The flavor leans just a hair on the sweet side of balance, with sweet Vienna and crystal malts almost equaled by peppery hops. Ethanal rears it’s ugly head atop my palate as well. Medium-bodied and lightly creamy with lively carbonation. Short, crisp, mostly clean finish. DuffMan (10762) - the land of bitumen, beef & beer, Alberta, CANADA - APR 28, 2011
On tap, as part of a tasting tray enjoyed while patiently waiting out a weather delay in the airport enroute to Chicago.Hazy deep copper red. Lightly fruity caramel aroma and flavour, spicy nuances. Tasty.
