Poured a nice ruby color with almost no head. Aroma was extremly fruity, with booze, hops, and oak. Taste was very sweet fruit and hops, with a nice oak flavor underneath. Very strong alcohol aroma. Very warming and long lasting. Lingering Oak aftertaste. Way sweeter than I expected it to be, but it was very drinkable.

Served in a goblet at the brewpub - This poured a lightly cloudy amber body with a ring in lieu of a head. The aroma was fruity with nectarines and a touch of orchard fruit - no bananas, dm9831 - with some supportive booziness. Smooth but somewhat hot - it is 10% ABV - on the tongue. Hints of oak and vanilla are added to the flavor and the alcohol takes a stronger role. Very nice offering from brewer Iain Wilson, especially during our current miserable weather.
