This growler from Adam at rbsg #2 poured a extremely small sized head of medium sized clear colored bubbles that were quickly diminishing and left behind a hazy yellow white colored body. The aroma was mild malt mild vinous and sour. The mouth feel was tingly at the start and at the finish. The mild flavor contained notes of sour. Very dry, very light, lots of lemon, some dusty yeast, and cereal. The malt is just a bit too grainy. Decent.

Sampled at GABF on 9/18/2010. This Berliner Weiss pours a light gold color from the tap. Small sized white foamy head. The aroma is citrusy and fruity, slightly tart. A light to medium bodied Berliner Weiss. The malts are fruity, citrusy and tart. The hops are herbal. A mildly tart Berliner Weiss, not mouth puckering, but you can get the idea. Decent carbonation. Light and refreshing. Wish it had just a little more tartness. Mouthfeel is full. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly tart. Cornfield (5570) - Oak Forest, Illinois, USA - AUG 15, 2010
On tap at the brewpub and in growlers at home: This is this year’s pro-am entry at the GABF, the "am" being one Terry Frey, a fairly decent chap. It pours a hazy pale yellow body with a modest head. The aroma has a lemony tartness with a hint of funk. This is right on target with the flavor, bready malts supporting a mildly acidic tartness. Very refreshingly tasty. UPDATED: AUG 22, 2010 Dispensed to a sampler glass at the brewup bar, and presented a hazed, straw/lemonade color, with no head or lacing. The aroma was a little funk, earthiness, and some vegetal hints as cooked greens. Tartness was the main component of the flavor in a light body. Nice effort, but not working for me at all! Oh well, I guess I have to blame my first impression on a bad pour at the brewpub. I sampled this again at the Oak Park Microbrew & Food Review, and was happy that I did. There was some modest, white, quickly diminishing head foam this time, some good carbonation that gave the beer a pleasant, spritzy mouthfeel, light grain, and no off notes in the nose. Shared on the bus to the Michigan Brewers Festival during RBSG courtesy of Adam I think. Pours a lightly hazed yellow with a thin white head. Soft mustard, hay, and light wheat. Crisp and gentle carbonation, lemon and wheat. Light mustard tang on the finish.
