ROGUE (2215) - Lewes, Delaware, USA - OCT 1, 2012
On tap at Brewpub in Orland Park. Pours a pale golden color with a thin white head that dissapates quickly. Smell is light pale malt with some mild grassy hops. Flavor is very mild with just a hint of honey and a touch of hops. Very bland.
Cornfield (5570) - Oak Forest, Illinois, USA - AUG 5, 2011
On tap at the brewpub: This poured a golden/yellow body with a sustained white head. The aroma was mildy sweet, lightly malty, with a splash of honey. The flavor was faithfully reflective of the nose, but I swear I caught a hint of honeycomb. Nice crisp finish. Not a bad warm weather drink, but Iain’s Alt and Saison were also on tap, and I’d prefer one (both, actually) of those for this season.
