Bomber bottle from The BeerHive in Pittsburgh. Dry and bitter, not the tastes you’d usually associate with a fruit beer. Just okay, but not worth a second purchase. LinusStick (3447) - Moon Twp, suburb of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA - JUL 18, 2012
OK beer at best. Aroma was decent. Frankenberry. ’Nuff said. Pour was a light somewhat cloudy gold with a one finger white head. Taste was average. Not much flavor. The strong biting carbonation (which was great) drowned out the mild strawberry flavor. No aftertaste or finish. Very weak in the flavor department but would be a great cookout beer. ttutony (918) - Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA - JUN 3, 2012
Copper color with a thin white head. Fruity aroma. Sort of sweet on the palate...strange aftertaste on the finish. dpjuart (1112) - Indiana, Pennsylvania, USA - JUL 3, 2010
Pours hazy yellow with orange hues, filmy white head. Malty, lacto, sweet and sugar. Some strawberry notes, but not really. No real nose. Interesting. FROTHINGSLOSH (7697) - GREENSBURG, Pennsylvania, USA - JUN 26, 2010
Sampled on draft at the brewery this beer poured a hazy medium amber color with a large white head that lingered and produced good lacing. The aroma was cherry gummy bears. The flavor was sweet, tangy and sugary with a cherry gummy bear element throughout. The finish was long, sweet and fruity. Nice.

Enjoyed at the brewpub via draft in a handled pub glass. The beer pours a light to nearly medium golden color, with some cloudyness and a moderate white head. The aroma brings at first some subtle notes of strawberries, along with some pilsner- (or perhaps American 2-row) derived grainyness. The palate is a nice combination of the fruit and the central characteristics of an American blonde ale; showing fruit up front, followed by a mellow note of malt and a clean, if short, finish. Overall, the beer does a nice job of retaining "beer-like" characteristics, but falls short of great fruit beers. cheap (5798) - Beaver Valley, Beaver County, Pennsylvania, USA - SEP 3, 2007
Ever so slightly pinkish but yellow for the most part, just like a strawberry blond! Cloudy like an unfiltered wheat. Thin head with some strawberries in the aroma. However, it is not overwhelmingly fruity. Smells good! In the taste there is some berry or fruit something but it is difficult to identify if it is strawberries or not. Has a mild bitterness that builds on the palate during the session. Typical fruit beer. Not sweet, comes across like a lager. I wonder if Madame Berry actually dyes her hair?
