A refreshing, light golden brew, this lager is clean and well balanced, with just a hint of hops and wonderful malt glow.

Tap... Poured clear, straw yellow with a white head. Aroma was nearly absent. Pretty below average lager. Cracker malt in mostly in both the aroma and taste. Finished with pinesole and malt.

dkoonce (911) - People’s Republic of Athens, Ohio, USA - AUG 18, 2008
Light gold, with a medium head. Fruity aroma, with a light body. A little bit too malty. Clean finish

dwedin (249) - Happy Valley, Oregon, USA - APR 21, 2008
Bright clear yellow, tight bubble small head. Not much going on, carb is really low which makes it even more boring, a little watery.

jasonp (1581) - Ashburn, Virginia, USA - AUG 10, 2005
On tap at Portland location. Clear golden with a quickly fading white head. Aroma is grainy with a hint of hops. Flavor has notes of grain, hints of lemon/citrus and some light maltiness. Some bittering hops creep in at the end. Light bodied with a watery texture and moderate carbonation.

JoeMcPhee (9459) - Toronto, ON, Ontario, CANADA - DEC 6, 2004
Pale golden colour and a thin white head. Aroma is very subtle, light citrus, pale malt and a touch of earthy hops. Not bad.

motelpogo (7704) - Plzen, CZECH REPUBLIC - DEC 3, 2004
on tap at rock bottom in portland. pretty dull, yellow, grainy, lightly lemony, tedious, watery stuff

3fourths (9351) - Boulder, Colorado, USA - AUG 14, 2004
Clear yellow. Regular grainy nose, taste is plain and empty. Nothing to see here... not crisp at all.

beerinmarch (2830) - Washington, USA - JUL 11, 2004
Pours a golden color with a small white head that left some good lacing. Not much to the aroma, sligtly straw like with faint hops. Taste is rather boring, staring slightly sweet and ending faintly bitter with almost an aftertaste like clams?

BückDich (5464) - McCall, Idaho, USA - JUL 8, 2004
Pellucid gold, sticky head/lacing. The aroma is 2-rowy with some light grassy hops. Flavor is watery with more domestic cheap malt flavor. Watery, bland, eh.

duff (5484) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - JUN 15, 2004
[email protected] Bottom, Portland. Pretty crap malty sweet lager, grainy and thin. Hard to say too much else. Golden.
