3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Pours copper red with a white head. Smooth, with some sweet malts. Not too much aroma in these beers, but decent.
Draft in Minneapolis Airport brewpub. Mostly clear dark Amber color, weak legs of lacing. Aroma is light herbal and citrus hops. Amber ales almost never get me excited. This is no exception. Base of the beer is caramel malts. Hops come in with light citrus and notes of earth herbalness. Body is thin with a very light bitterness. Way to.much caramel without enough hop punch. It is brewed for the masses and it shows. mzaar (3595) - Varberg, SWEDEN - OCT 19, 2015
Fat.
A little hoppy at least and not bad all around. Grabbing for something at this place. Amber pour with ok head and some lacing. Light copper bitter finish. Tap at Bethesda brewpub. jcnielsen (3416) - Charlotte, North Carolina, USA - MAR 30, 2015
On tap at Rock Bottom in Charlotte. Pours a clear amber color with white head. Pretty minimal aromas of caramel and slight pine. Piney hop flavor balanced with caramel malts. One of the better ones on the flight. This is the type of beer I would have really dig when I was 21. notalush (5910) - Lakewood, Colorado, USA - MAR 28, 2015
Tap at the Chicago location - lame, watery-ass amber - weak malt texture and very little flavor aside from some pumpernickel and subdued, earthy hoppiness - a bit of acidity, an almost sour note - even for an American amber it is pretty sub-par.

One of the better beers in the flight and that is not saying much. This one has a better balance of hopps and malt. You can taste the crystal hopps in this one. Smells malty and pours light red with a reddish head.

Tap, Seattle. Pours a clear dark copper to reddish body with a small foamy off-white head. Very light nose, some Cheerio-like cereal grain with some husky and grainy notes. The flavor is pretty bland and boring with some light husky toasted malt, minimal to no hops, save for a bit on the late finish. Light bodied with watery texture and fizzy carbonation. Some lingering grainy maltiness. Pretty boring stuff. Beerman6686 (6607) - Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA - DEC 17, 2014
This poured a red color with a white head. Aroma was of toasted malt and grassy hops. Flavor similar, nothing outstanding but nothing offputting either. Ron (4107) - Rochester, New York, USA - OCT 30, 2014
At the Brewpub with Kara, andy and Patty. This pours a thin light tan head and cloudy orange/brown color. Aroma is medium malt, some fruit. Taste is medium malt-toffee, secondary fruit, some earthy hops. Smooth. Mild carbonation. bytemesis (8990) - Sunnyvale, California, USA - OCT 28, 2014
