Tap, Seattle. Pour s a slightly hazy copper body with a small tight bubbled beige head that left some heavy lacing. The nose is citrusy and fairly bright with some caramel malt below. The flavor is light to moderately bitter with some decent piney hop notes, but a little too much carmel malt sweetness below. Medium bodied with some stickiness and a lingering finish that’s a bit husky and just lightly bitter. A middle of the road IPA at best, certainly nothing that stands out. Sample at the brewpub. The beer pours a slightly hazy orange-amber color with a medium off-white head that diminishes steadily. Partial rings of lacing. Aroma of citrus, hops and malt. Medium body with a mildly bitter hops character with citrus and toasted malt flavors. The finish is hoppy with a fruity aftertaste. Decent overall. olio (10167) - Tampere, FINLAND - JUL 16, 2012

Caramel, light iced tea, citrus, and floral hops on the nose. Not assertive but not weak. Somewhat middling. Pours golden orange, decent lasting head. The flavor is citrus, grass, and floral hops - medium assertiveness and medium bitterness on top of some caramel and pale malts. Run of the mill PNW IPA with decent drinkability and decent flavor.
