I had this stout at the Bethesda location. Maybe it was just the batch I drank from but this stout was smooth and surely did not have a kick to it. It was the least bitter stout I have ever had. I’ll have to try this brew out at another location.

Nitro at the Bethesda location. Pour is a clear, deep ruby to deep cola red with a medium nitro brown head. Small lace. Aroma is smoke, ash, cherries, relatively muted. Reviewed from notes. On tap at the Rock Bottom in Bethesda, MD.
Pours black with a bit of a mocha head. Maybe two fingers, although that recedes fairly quickly into nothing much. Hints of lacing. The nose is mostly roasted malt with some vague notions of light hops as well as some coffee. Taste is fairly light in flavor with some roasted malt. Decent body with good carbonation. A nice lighter flavor without much standing out.

Draught at the Campbell location @4.4%abv. Served on nitro, but why wouldn’t it be, right? Black with a lasting tan head. Fresh roasted barley, toasted bread, and milky chocolate aroma. The flavor is pretty balanced and smooth with a gentle bitterness but not much sweetness either. Roasted malt flavors of lightly burnt toast. Bready and a touch ashy. Light bodied but with a creamy texture that stands up to the roast. Solid stout and very drinkable. EricE (1367) - Seattle, Washington, USA - MAR 20, 2010
Black pour with a thin white head. Roasty aroma with hints of coffee. Light and easy to drink bitter roast flavor. Hints of licorice. Some sweetness. ben4321 (6506) - Hoboken, New Jersey, USA - MAY 13, 2009
Location: I venture into the Rock Bottom Bethesda every now and again because it is so close, this is one of their standard offerings, and I’ve had it a few times on tap

Probably one of the more boring Stouts out there, it’s thin and boring, not terrible, just dull.
On tap at Bethesda location. Black in color with a tan nitro head. Roasty aroma. Flavor is roasted malt and coffee. Dry on the palate and a little lighter than I’d like.
