Hazy, copper pour with an off-white head. The aroma has light bread and mild hops. It has a medium body with slightly sticky texture and average carbonation. The taste is sweet with a mildly dry finish. supershea (19) - Bella Vista, Arkansas, USA - DEC 30, 2014
This was disappointing. I was excited to have a regional brewery with a Saison. This just wasn’t impressive at all. The pour is okay, very little head. The taste is flat with hints of citrus, but not palate popping citrus from other Saisons I have had. The finish us sour and lingers. AbbeyRoade (547) - Missouri, USA - OCT 19, 2014
Something strange about this one. Not a typical saison. Strange flavors that don’t quite hold together as a farmhouse ale. Not recommended. edgallow (4211) - nashville, Tennessee, USA - AUG 31, 2014
16 oz draft pours amber with a white head. Aroma of malts, spice and yeast. Taste is yeast, malts and funk. jmagnus87 (2912) - Rockford, Illinois, USA - JUL 13, 2014
Can sampled at RBSG. From notes. Caramel, yeast and some tart funk. Pretty good.

16 oz can shared by DrSilverworm. Pours a hazy golden color with a medium sized white head. The aroma and flavor have some spices, hay, mild fruit character, light funk, some earthy bitterness, not very dynamic, pretty basic saison. DrSilverworm (9671) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - JUL 1, 2014
16oz can, from Lukas Liquor in Missouri. Hazy orange amber color. Fizzy off-white head. Loose splotches of lace. Medium body. Soft, kind of effervescent carbonation. More dry finish. Big herbal character, kind of spicy. Bigger spicy, moderate bitter, light sweet. Eh.. Not crazy about this one. A bit too much of a bitter spicy bite for a 5.5% saison. Calms down a bit though after sitting and swishing. b3shine (8874) - Indiana, USA - JUL 1, 2014
16 oz can to snifter (shared by DrSilverworm). Looks solid; a hazy apricot with foamy eggshell head. Smells semi-sweet and yeasty. Tastes like it smells with a touch of what seems to be orange. Solid on the palate. A decent no-frills saison. Quetzolcotl (26) - - JUN 16, 2014
16oz can. Pours nice medium dark gold, pretty clear, and lots of carbonation. Aroma of pears and apricots, and malt. Finishes nice and dry but is too bitter for the style and is slightly astringent. Wish this had some more fruity esters from the yeast. Glad to see a saison in a can so I applaud that. Hope they keep tweaking the recipe. thegreenrooster (4402) - St.louis, Missouri, USA - JUN 12, 2014
Pour is a clear gold with a huge white head. Aroma is grain malt with some yeasty ester. Flavor is a heavy malt grain with the yeast trying to do something. The aftertaste really kills this one. Kind of gritty and bitter with something like burnt malt. A little unpleasant. This one needs to head back to the drawing board.
