This ale is wonderfully balanced by its malt sweetness and fresh, hoppy finish. Crisp and clean throughout, our World Champion ale delivers its beautiful reddish color with a medium body and a thick, creamy head.

Had some of this from last summer in the fridge. I am truly sorry to see that they are apparently no more. I always liked Rock Creek brews. They weren't near the top in any category, but they were consistently above average, and always smooth and crisp. Farewell, Rock Creek.

Nice pour and good color. A good clean, fresh tasting beer. Overall, not quite as good as I thought it would be, but very drinkable none the less.

Not a very good ale and i only drank it because it was part of my sampler. Not reccommended for full case consumption.

Despite being a 1997 World Champion, I was not so impressed with this red ale. Being very similar to the Pete’s Wicked Red Rush, I was not that impressed with it.

surprisingly nice bitterness and citrus flavors. not a great deal of body to this beer, but still a decent effort....just dont let it get too warm

Red color, small head, and not very bubbly. Not the best red ale but a decent attempt. Aroma is of american hops, citrus and piney. Crisp finish and nice entry. Not bad but nothing special.

A little flat, but drinkable. Leaves an unusual metallic taste on the palate.

amber colour, fruity, strong malt presence, well-hopped, sweet - very satisfying !
