Rock Ice is created through an “Ice Brewing” system. In this system, the beer is sub-cooled to achieve the formation of fine ice crystals, which separate from the liquid without the loss of any aromatic substances. This chemical change influences taste and aroma. Costa Ricans have been enjoying Rock Ice since 1995.

Sweet cornmeal with rocket fuel. Drink ice cold to avoid all of the adjuncts in this beer.

473ml can pours a light straw color with a 2 finger white head that dissipates quickly leaving some decent lacing on the glass. Aroma is grassy and grainy. Taste is grassy hops with grainy malt sweetness. Nothing desirable at all. Not recommended.

Canned in Monteverde. Hazy pale golden, rich head. Strange fruity nosr with some orange shandy. Sweetish with light to medium body and rounded mouthfeel. Fruity flavour, like if the can ptrviously had been filled with artificial shandy, then refilled with industrial lager without cleansing it. Low bitterness in a finish with orange lemonade and white pepper.

Blonded gold body, fluffy head. Gently baked grain aroma with zephyrs of yeast and esters--not bad at all, and certainly much better than I anticipated, as it intimates a modicum of complexity. Light bodied, but with a modest baked grain flavor. Ok for the style.

Had from a bottle at Buhio in Jaco. Weird flavor. Fruity and grain earth taste. Can taste the booze in this one (for a change). Not bad. Tastes like a bud light lime. More unique than most of the beers I have tried in Costa Rica

350ml bottle. only had a sip of this. from that, i could tell that this is just a very grim, watery lager. florida bebidas never fail to impress me with just how many rubbish beers they do.

Very bad. Tastes sour and kind of flat. Pours pissy yellow. Tastes like slightly carbonated garbage. Ill avoid this one like I usually do any beer in one of this clear bottles.

Can. Pours pale yellow with a small white head. Lightly skunky aroma of sweet malt. Sweet, watery and fruity with just a hint of bitterness. Fortunately it tastes slightly better than it smells.

The beer is light yellow, skunky smell, very litle taste. Thankfully, very short aftertaste It sure tasted better in Costa Rica then in Oslo.. To taste good it needs 30 degrees a beach and lots of sun

can. horrid sacharine, ginger and silt nose, sour corn and dairy notes present as well. same ginger / spice, saccharine and candy sugar flavor. even has a zing and bite of the ginger root. medium-thin body but carbonation is just decently frothy.
