Bottle from a Historical Beers of America gift pack. Has some caramel and maple notes in the nose, almost like cedar scented hay, I would call it. Flavor is adjunct-ey, sweet, grainy, with a light maple sweetness. Honestly it’s not that bad, I think because it was kept out of the light. A bland lager, that’s for sure, but it’s not disgusting or anything. JamesD (244) - Centreville, Virginia, USA - JAN 6, 2008
This beer is very bland, it has a slightly grainy scent and flavor. It’s also incredibly pale. This tastes like a less bitter and bad version of Budweiser. Better than macro lager, but not by leaps and bounds. andyhite (308) - Murfreesboro, Tennessee, USA - JAN 5, 2008
12 oz bottle, part of sampler. it pours just like budweiser, but with no grassy tint. this is all crystal clear and golden, head (what there was of it) hit just off white, but disappeared by the time the pour was finished. the aroma is honey-fied malts and an airy mass. though muted, it has many qualities of a cheap california sauv blanc - grassy, mineral-strong, and loads of that wet rock. it even smells watery. the taste mirrors the aroma to a "t". kudos for that. the hops can be faintly detected on the ’’flavor’’. other than that, it’s very zingy. the crappy part is that there are 2 of these in the sampler. thank god it was an x-mas present, otherwise i would go to the ’’brewery’’ and ask for my money to be returned to me. and by the way, as an afterthought, MrRain - that is a fucking hilarious review. thank you for making this experience tolerable. incutrav (577) - Woodbury, Minnesota, USA - JAN 4, 2008
More crap from the america sampler. Bland, sour, off smelling lager. Terrible wildnobility (11) - USA - DEC 31, 2007
Watery beer... as mentioned on here, mineral-waterish. Light colored body, slight sourness. Don’t recall anything striking about the smell. Flavor goes away quickly.

(bottle thanks Philsener) Pours pale gold with a large white head. Aroma is really strange with some light hops and what I can only describe as a dirty hamster cage. Taste is sweet initially with a large dose of grain taking over in the finish. Pretty much what I expected, except for the hamster cage smell. puboflyons (3431) - Allenstown, New Hampshire, USA - DEC 27, 2007
12 fl. oz (US) bottle from a gift pack of historic American beers. Pours a golden yellow with a little bit of white head. It never goes away completely. A lot of carbonation that continues through the session. A malty aroma. A medium mouth feel. The taste makes me think of a non-watered down macro. It tastes like a macro but it is a bit heavier. It’s an adequate brew. beerlord (217) - Cumming, Georgia, USA - DEC 19, 2007
Light golden with no head. Sour fruit aroma.very thing over carbonated mouth feel. I find it very hard to believe there is no corn or rice in this beer. Cooked cabbae flavor.thin, weak, bland SphinxTX (2875) - Mata Gorda, Texas, USA - DEC 18, 2007
Sampler pack; Ok, read the previous posts. I have to say, the beer that I had, has a delightful fruity aroma, with complimenting taste, yet, malt taste is noticible. Head retention is good when poured properly, I would say medieum retention. Color is very nice for a lager, golden straw.....It is a tasty brew with even a nice after tatse. Great use of hop’s for this style. Would buy again. MrRain (472) - St. Louis, Missouri, USA - DEC 17, 2007
12oz bottle poured in a shaker glass. RRL pours piss yellow with almost no head at all. It smells like grapes and garbage. It tastes like carbonated water. I honestly can not taste anything. My throat is slightly sore but this beer is devoid of taste. I can’t say it’s worse than a Bud Light becaue Bud Light has taste, bad taste but taste none-the-less. I’ll rate this above a typical macro brew because macros have bad taste and no taste is better than bad taste. I think I just drank a glass of air. It’ll probably make me fart.
