UPDATED: MAR 31, 2009 Dull straw, very slight haze and no head. Horrible communistic aroma with lots of phenols, rotting grains, apple. Watery body, lots of glue. Bland...I wont go so far as to say inoffensive. This beer has a lot of problems. Old equipment, poor QC, that sort of thing. Like I said, communistic.

Bottle from sampler set. Poured a clear copper color with an average creamy off-white head that was mostly lasting. Average hoppy citrus aroma. Medium body with a thin texture. Light bitter sweet flavor with a short finish.

12oz bottle acquired in trade with daknole (thanks!). Poured a medium yellow/golden color with a small sized white head. Aromas of graininess, and corny. Tastes of the same graininess, corny, and a little sweet. Hey, its a Pale Lager!

Bottle. Sweet roasted barley aroma. Amber color with small head. Slightly sweet initially but then turns into a mess - soap and metallic flavors overwhelm the palate. Not good at all.

Well for an unknown lager it was a bit of a surprise. Yellow pour, white head. Aroma is sweet, grainy and malty. Flavor is pretty smooth with some sweetness and light malts. Not a great beer, but very easy to drink.

hopscotch (11030) - Vero Beach, Florida, USA - MAR 4, 2008
Bottle... Clear pale yellow lager with a small, fizzy, white head that is ... ZAP!... gone in a flash. Weak aroma when cool, but as it warms, it rears its ugly head. Smells like poultry drippings (no, not droppings) and spent, pale grains with a much lesser note of honey and a whisper of menthol. Medium-bodied with medium carbonation. Leans slightly on the bitter side of balance. Uninspired and boring. Finishes short and crisp with a moderately bitter hop pinch.

UPDATED: APR 13, 2014 Bottle - thanks Brandon. Pale hazy orange amber pour with a smaller head. Slightly sweet. Low flavor - pretty dull beer.

At least this one didnt make me turn my head away in reulsion with its aroma! Sweet grainy aroma and flavour, again with that odd artificial sugary component that I cant stand in so many of Minhas beers. Also the expected thin watery palate. Im giving the rest of these Minhas specialty pack beers to my father-in-law. They should re-label the case to be "Historic Bottles of American Piss".
