Smell is malts, corn, grain, weak, some sweetness, and watery. The look is a golden clear and not very much of its white head. The taste is sweet corn, grains, water, and malts.

Purchased as part of the Beers of America Historical Collection, contract brewed from original recipes. Nothing special at all here, nice golden color, no head and light lacing. Flavor is so light its almost non-existent. Reminds me of an American macro-brew from the 70s, which is not a good thing....

Thanks to hopdog. Pours a translucent golden with a small bubbly white head. Aroma of sweet corn, light citrus and grass. Flavor of the same. Decent, a little sweet and not offensive.

Bottle Pours a crystal clear light amber. Small off white head and actually quite nice heavy lacing. Aroma of sweet light malts. Honey and cereal. Flavor is sweet again and has notes of honey and paper. Lightly hopped, but then again that is how you probly should hop this beer. Moderatly carbonated and silight corn chex aftertaste. Not unpleasant. Pretty good for the style even.

UPDATED: JAN 16, 2009 The aroma is sweet and malty with some grass, bread, and yeast. The appearance is pale gold with a small head. The flavor is like the aroma being very sweet. The palate is thin. Overall its easy to drink but there isnt much to say.

YES, the "Historical Beers of America" collection. My father got this wooden tool box thing of beer for xmas last year. "hey, you want half of this?" Are they that bad, Pop? Twist off caps...beer dont no.2! Golden in color. Lager malt aroma. nice white head. Creamer texture than most lagers.present malt flavor throughout. Much better than Bud! A Suprisingly good beer for this style. A really good lager.

Pours is yellow with no head. No aroma and no taste at all. I could be drinking water and could not tell any difference.

Poured a clear gold with a small white head. Grainy sweet malt with DMS. Light malt flavor. Grainy with a fruity finish. What the hell is going on over there in Monroe. They are obviously a marketing company with some packets of yeast.

Well, I guess this was o.k. as far as lagers go. It had a good malt load, giving a sweetness with sound flavor, although I really didnt enjoy the cardboard qualities that came out when it warmed up a bit. Average palate and carbonation. Clearly not a beer to rock your world, but it wont shatter it either. Thanks, Markus, for the bottle.
