On tap at the brewpub. Pours a dark orange-tinged brown with average-sized eggshell head. Aroma is big dark fruit, caramel and bready maltiness with spicy hopiness. Flavour has a huge raisin and plum character with some toasty toffee, bread and mostly spicy, but slightly citrusy hopiness. Alcohol is subtle. Fine carbonation. Medium plus body. Impressive. jdobbs (411) - New Brunswick, CANADA - MAY 15, 2013
A classic West Coast-style Imperial Red Ale - medium bodied with a huge malt presence and fruit ester complexity. Balanced with massive Centennial and Cascade hop presence with a long lingering finish. Excellent with spicy foods, hearty beef dishes and cheeses. Oodles of fresh viscous hops on the nose. Big citrus notes with lots of toasted malt to balance it out. The same big punch on the palate with a nice warm, spicy finish. Gethinbeer (2452) - Nova Scotia, CANADA - APR 28, 2013
Amber pour. Fantastic aroma. Hop, fruit. Clinging lace. Dark thin head. Oily texture. Boozy and tasty. Bendrixian (1514) - Canadiana, Ontario, CANADA - APR 19, 2013
red hazy colour with a decent head. Big brew that is bursting with hops and malts. Huge beer with fruity hops, a malted backbone that never ends and finishes spicy with a little boozy kick. Amazing beer!

12oz draft. Cloudy red colour with small but lingering tan head and lots of lacing. Taste and aroma are big malts and big West Coast hops with some fruitiness behind that. Nice solid body. Overall, an excellent big beer.
