Overall this one is really hard to beat. I haven’t found any IPA in the region that is available on a regular basis that comes close to it. Please please please put this in bottles on the NSLC shelves! Hops! Through and through, fruity, juicy, well balanced malt backend, long finish with a firm bitterness that seems just perfect. I might prefer it with slightly less malt character, otherwise, such a delightful and easy drinking IPA. I want one now. UXO (1896) - CANADA - JUN 20, 2014
(Tasting flight) Pours a slightly hazy light gold with minimal head and spotty lacing. Big citrusy nose with grapefruit and pine resin. Taste is similar against a pleasant caramel malt background. Mouth feel is on the light side but sufficient for the style. Hidden_Pooch (518) - Stratford, Prince Edward Island, CANADA - OCT 24, 2014
What a great IPA, never even new it was that strong either. Poured a clear light amber with tiny head. Aroma was incredible, with smells of mango, citrus, pine, and peach. Tasted of peach, pine, grapefruit, and caramel malts. Strong hop presence but good balancing of malts too. Had a medium chewy body with average carbonation and a great bitterness. nick146 (18) - St. John’s, Newfoundland, CANADA - APR 21, 2013
On tap at Rockbottom Brewpub in Halifax. Pours an amber-red colour with a white head which gives way to some great lacing. Smells of citrus, with some malts as well. Very strong grapefruit aromas. The taste is almost predominantly grapefruit. I had to make sure with the bartender (who was very friendly) that there was no grapefruit juice added to the beer. This is a strong and bitter tasting beer, but has great flavour. I would definitely recommend this beer, as well as this pub, to anyone in the area. Great beer. Dagnabbit! This was a great find of the day! A fine looking, delicious tasting banger of a taste-wizard a knockin’. Rather light yellowish copper with a potent white skull-cap. Extremely piney with caramel malt and citrus notes as well drift nostrilwards. The taste is brilliantly fresh and piney but also with a smooth sweetness keeping it balanced. Mid-low carbonation and a healthy mid-heavy body make this a great IPA!

On tap at the brewpub. Pours a lightly cloudy orange with decent-sized white head with lots of retention. Aroma is huge, lovely mostly citrusy but also piney hops with sweet candied malt. Flavour is quite sweet and full of grapefruit/citrus and piney hops. Nice bitterness in finish. Fine carbonation. Really an excellent, very drinkable beer. Deep golden pour. Nose is very bright. Fresh citrus and pepper. Assertive bitterness. A clean bitterness and a great citrus/spice character. Awesome. Could drink this all day. Bendrixian (1514) - Canadiana, Ontario, CANADA - MAR 22, 2013
hazy orange colour, big hoppy aroma with tropical fruit notes. fresh hoppy brew with a real citrus taste and freshly hopped bitterness on the finish. by far one of the best available brews in the city. jdobbs (411) - New Brunswick, CANADA - MAY 15, 2013
Our west coast style India Pale Ale screams hop flavour and aroma with an amazing candy-like oily balance. Delicious hop-forward notes of citrus, grapefruit pith and pine meld together as one with malty undertones finishing with a long, lingering draw. A fabulous pairing with all things spicy or cheesy, poultry or fish dishes. Atheist_Peace (981) - Halifax, Nova Scotia, CANADA - MAY 21, 2013
Cloudy orange pour with fairly minimal head. Huge fresh citrus fruit on the nose with a piney note. Solid bitter crunch on the palate without leaning into astringency. Big citrus character.
