Golden coloured beer. Citrus hoppy taste. A little malty. Mild bitterness to finish. It's OK.

Poured in Ballston, VA. Color is a solid amber. Not much head but poured tall by bartender. The taste has a fresh hop aspect. It is bitter but a little off in the aftertaste. rejtable (2840) - Ontario, CANADA - AUG 9, 2011
On tap from brewpub. This one really didn’t work for me. All I got was sweet malt backing, nothing or very little in terms of hops. Not for me. DuffMan (10667) - the land of bitumen, beef & beer, Alberta, CANADA - JUL 6, 2011
On tap, part of the tasting tray offered at the brewpub. Cloudy orange amber, lacy, even in my tiny sampler. Low aroma of citrus peel and light resin. Flavours of marmalade with moderate bitterness. Smooth, lower carbo gives this a cask feel.

Draught @ Rockbottom, Halifax, NS: Nice amber pour, sweet citrusy aroma. Quite bitter to taste but a prominent straw flavour that’s really not welcome. Bah. Lubiere (14151) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - OCT 27, 2009
A light golden IPA with a thin lacing white head. Faint hops aroma, light caramel. In mouth, a very weak IPA, with crisp malt, very light hopping, medium bodied, almost lager like. On tap at brewpub, Oct. 11 2009. JoeMcPhee (9553) - Toronto, ON, Ontario, CANADA - AUG 26, 2009
Pale golden beer. A bit of light woody hop aroma over some light pale malt. Flavour shows a light sweetness but worse than that the hoppiness is barely perceptible. A little bit of crackery character. Way underhopped and with a lingering sweetness. Not an IPA by any stretch of the imagination. The base beer isn’t too bad, but the hop bill needs to be quadrupled, at least. OKBeer (1175) - Halifax, Nova Scotia, CANADA - APR 9, 2009
On tap at the pub. Golden amber colour with a mostly diminishing frothy off-white head. Bready, light caramel, and fruity aroma. Bready malts with a fruity, earthy, and citrusy bitter finish - some light vegetal taste in there too, but there’s’ enough other stuff going on to keep it pleasant. Medium bodied, smooth mouthfeel. Perhaps more ESB than IPA but enough hops to satisfy. However the vegetal taste creeping into this one (as well as the other beers) makes me think some yeast/fermentation issues might already be getting to these beers.
