10 ounce glass from cask on first visit to the brewpub, August 4th. Lasting thick creamy and cream-colored head topping a translucent dull gold body, lots of chunky lacing...grainy nose, corn and oats, very sweet, the adjuncts work well here and there is a bit of bready barley character as it warms...full, smooth and not as sweet as I feared, dries out just a bit, nicely, at the finish...simple and easy drinking and about as characterful as I might hope for in such a beer at an unknown-at-the-time brewpub. jmagnus87 (2912) - Rockford, Illinois, USA - FEB 22, 2014
Draft at the brewpub. Pours a hazy dark gold with a finger of white head. Aroma is almost non-existent. Something a little dank but that’s it. Taste is light bitter, but not much there. Medium bodied with a creamy texture. Soft carbonation and a decently long finish. Simple, but pretty good.
