On tap at the Rockmill Tavern, Columbus. Gold color with a thin white head. Aromas of Belgian yeast, clove, banana and stone fruit. Malty and sweet, earthy hops, stone fruits, spice, black pepper. Rich and malty. Slightly sticky mouthfeel. Very nice. JaBier (7806) - Capital City, Ohio, USA - JAN 30, 2011
Bottle sample at the Rockmill tasting at Blacklick Wine & Spirits on 1/27/10. Pours a hazy amber with a thick off-white head. Malty nose that’s a bit sweeter than the wit, along with some herbal character (almost coriander-ish), some citrus and funk. Malty flavor with some caramel, and a spicy herbal character. Then there’s the slightest hint of vanilla, almost like an oak aged beer, before the bitter grassy finish takes over. Complex and very good saison. Sample at the Ale Wine & Spirits Saison tasting on 07/28/2011. The beer pours a hazy amber-orange color with a medium lasting white head. Rings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of citrus, yeast and bready malt. Medium body with mildy tart fruit, yeast, and spice flavors. The finish is fruity up front and leaves an herbal yeast aftertaste. Prettty good overall. decaturstevo (6240) - decatur, Tennessee, USA - AUG 9, 2011
Cloudy orange/tan pour with watery white head. Bread, coriander, and Belgian yeast. Belgian yeast, light brown sugar, and bread. Medium bodied with aggressive carbonation. Nice beer. JStax (6344) - Devola/Marietta, Ohio, USA - APR 6, 2012
Poured from a corked and caged 750 ml bottle. Appearance is a hazy copper with a thick white head of foam that maintains itself well. Aroma is sweet and fruity with a nice orange zest thing going on. Taste is somewhat subdued from the aroma but still sweet and earthy. In the finish is a fruity ester note that gives way to fresh ground black pepper. Interesting beer. Pick this up if the opportunity presents itself.

Bottle thanks to Jstax! Pours a slightly hazy orange gold color with a lively 3 finger sticky foam. On the nose there is some nice fruit pear, rustic yeast, pepper and a bit of grass. The palate follows suit with a nice balance between sweet fruit, peppery spice and some earthy hay and straw peaking through to keep it on the farm. Nice beer and will search out more from this brewery. jtclockwork (16426) - , New Jersey, USA - FEB 13, 2014

Aroma: The nose is yeast and spice mostly with a pretty decent amount of funk as well
Appearance: Pours a murky orange color with a small, sheeting white head that leaves plus lace
Flavor: The flavor is pretty funky as well, not much sweetness, lots of spice, and medium bitterness
Palate: The body is medium, it is fairly smooth on the mouth, somewhat creamy, with a mid-dry finish
This is definitely one of the funkier Saisons I can recall trying in recent memory. Overall, I thought that the flavor combination worked pretty well here, and the components all seem to mesh nicely.
Bottle poured into a snifter. From notes. Bready, dark fruits, citrus and some funk. Good.
