On tap at the source. Golden color with no head. Light spicy nose. Doughy yeast, some bitter orange peel, white sugar sweetness, and a dry honey sweetness. Odd wit. superspak (5694) - Michigan, USA - JUL 10, 2015
375 ml bottle into tulip glass, bottled on 5/1/2015. Pours hazy/cloudy golden orange color with a 1 finger dense white head with good retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings around the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of lemon, orange peel, pear, apple, light banana, coriander, clove, pepper, wheat, bread, herbal, grass, and yeast earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of fruity/earth yeast, spices, and pale malt notes; with good strength. Taste of big lemon, orange peel, pear, apple, light banana, coriander, clove, pepper, wheat, bread, herbal, grass, and yeast earthiness. Fair amount of herbal bitterness/yeast spiciness on the finish; with lingering notes of lemon, orange peel, pear, apple, light banana, coriander, clove, pepper, wheat, bread, and herbal/yeast earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Damn nice robustness and complexity of fruity/earthy yeast, spices, and pale malt flavors; with a great malt/yeast/spice balance and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, fairly crisp, and lightly creamy/bready mouthfeel that is great. Alcohol is very well hidden with minimal warming present after the finish. Overall this is an excellent witbier. All around great complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/earthy yeast, spices, and pale malt flavors; and very smooth and crisp to drink. This feels noticeably stronger on spiciness than most I have had in the style, but doesn’t feel out of balance. A very enjoyable offering. OsuStu (269) - - MAY 29, 2015
Tasting. A hazy grapefruit color with a bubbly white head. High on citrus aromas, grapfruit and lemon, and hay. Heavy lemon taste, other citrus and spices. Sticky finish. bubblehouse (1543) - louisville, Kentucky, USA - APR 24, 2015
Pours a golden color with a bunch of foam. Really carbonated but has a really nice fruity flavor. Chudwick (3240) - Taylor Mill, Kentucky, USA - NOV 27, 2014

Refrigerated 375 mL brown bottle poured into a weizen glass. Pours cloudy golden with small white head. Aroma is lemon and spices, medium body, well carbonated, and thick small-bubble lacing. Taste is lemon, earthy, some spice. This is good, but over priced. AndyReynolds (1085) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - OCT 31, 2014

Pour from a bottle at Rockmill. Pours a hazy, pale yellow-gold with a white head. Super bready and wheaty aroma, with sourdough, lemon, coriander, grass, and straw - big malt in the nose. Flavor of lemon citrus, wheat, florals, and mild spice. Cleaner than the nose. Light-medium bodied, with moderate carbonation and a bready, refreshing mouthfeel. Interesting witbier. Bootle at home. I’ve never heard of brewery but label looked classy so hoped beer would follow suit. Pours gazed yellow with puffy head. Nose is yeast and spice and citrus. Tastes of lemons, yeast, coriander, cloves, pepper, grass, orange peel, and ginger. Nice mix of flavors and very refreshing. Glad I took the chance since I was too lazy to look up prior. drfabulous (8106) - Lexington, Kentucky, USA - JUN 4, 2014
750 ml bottle from Whole Foods. Nice orange color with a big batch of foam. Coriander and spice. But a really nice yeast profile throughout. Pretty good. Borders saison. Wit flavors play out, though.
