craftyrocker (89) - Sydney, AUSTRALIA - JUN 2, 2017
375mL can from Boozebud, BB Oct 2017.
Appearance: Pale gold. Accidentally shook the can so it poured 5.5cm of head. After a few minutes it settled to a tight 1cm. Some of the best lacing I have seen (even towards the end).
Aroma: Dough/yeasty like Redoak Organic Pale Ale. No hops.
Taste: At 8 months old, the hops have dropped out so this tastes one dimensional. Would be totally unlike a fresh sample but it is drinkable and not oxidised. 7.2% alcohol is well hidden. Strong bitterness without much aftertaste (again I blame the age).
Mouthfeel: Good body and high carbonation.
Overall: Worth a rerate.

Can. Fruity, Piney, Hoppy and bitter just what youd expect in an ipa, decent drop.

375mL can from Booze Bud. BB Oct 17
Pale gold body, sizeable head.
Nice potent nose - grass, pine, unripe melons, lemon, orange sherbet, cereal malts.
Full bodied, hides its strength well, lifted carbonation.
Toasty cereal malt upfront, lots of citrus rind, unripe tropicals, grass, herbs, pine needle. Lingering bitterness, plenty of it.
Solid, bags of flavour, bags of bitterness.

375ml can BB Oct 2017. Highly underrated IPA - great Aussie hop tropical fruit flavours and aromas, with a nice toasty and light caramel maltiness. Had this following an IPA using Australian hops from a well known US brewery and the Rocks IPA put it in the shade, although granted the Conviction IPA was fresher and bought close to the source. Also fantastic on tap from the brewery.

whoisghost (193) - Perth, AUSTRALIA - NOV 20, 2015
Dull and murky burnt orange/faded copper. Big citrus aroma, plenty of lemon and mandarin and some pineapple thrown in for good measure. Citrus flavours continue to dominate through to taste - lemon amd orange peel with an earthy wheatgrass flavour for balance. Not much in the way of malty flavours which leaves the back end quite bitter. Nice full body and nice, dense mouthfeel.

gnoff (11053) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - OCT 15, 2015
Draught from hand pump at Harts Pub on October 11, 2015.
Tiny bit hazy copper color, white head. Fruity, hoppy, bitter taste, some faint caramel. Rather bitter aftertaste with alcohol. Smooth mouthfeel, high bitterness. Mild fruity scent.

500mL bottle that pours a deep golden amber hue with a small white head. Nice spicey citrus aroma with a slight dough/yeasty hint. Resinous piney grapefruit in the flavour with a nice toffee malt backing. Nice beer.
