Ticks boxes I don’t even have. If it had any more tangy fruitiness it would combust. An immense APA, and a fantastic inaugural beer from Rocky Head. pricey290483 (809) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - SEP 16, 2014

Bottle shared with dEnk. Opaque hazy orange color, medium to full sized white to off - white head. Smell and taste malts, lots of hops, fruityness, some pine and lots of bitterness. Absolutely lovely and amazing. Superb beer! Huge thanks to jmgreenuk for bringing this. Stumblor (64) - - SEP 14, 2013
Pours cloudy and amber, light carbonation and small bubbles. Smell is light, pine, dried apples. Taste is apples, tobacco, light campfire, floral element. Lush! Not worth the 8 pounds i paid for our though!! Thanks bread St kitchen. tderoeck (10002) - Gent, BELGIUM - JUL 1, 2013

Slightly clouded dark orange beer, big creamy off-white head, pretty stable, adhesive, leaving a nice lacing in the bottle. Lots of very small sediment floating around in the bottle. Aroma: very fruity, citrus, bit piny, exotic fruit cocktail. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: nice fruity start, pineapple, citrus, grapefruit, passion fruit, soft bitter hops. Aftertaste: little piny, nice dry hoppy ending, fruity flavours. Lovely pale ale, be it American or not.
Bottle from Selfridges, Birmingham. Amber. Smells good - like a perfumed soap bar. It doesn’t really smells like a perfumed soap bar at all. A smidge of hop hardness, but otherwise excellent. It’s really bitter and I must say it is certainly hoppy. If this is an APA (and it is), then surely it’s an excellent one? (it is). The_Bish (1123) - West Midlands, ENGLAND - APR 21, 2013
Drank this too quick to even smell it. I will have very positive memories of this beer. Delicious. Fuckin lovely. I’m going to go into Selfridges soon, hoping for their new ones. Or even the pale ale again. Check out Rocky Head Selfridges 1909 IPA @ratebeer zacgillbanks (5446) - Tyne & Wear, ENGLAND - JUN 11, 2015
Bottle from Corks Out, 21 Watergate Street, Chester CH1 2LB. This cloudy dark amber coloured beer pours appropriately enough with a huge rocky head of white foam. It has a bitter orange marmalade and citrus fruity flavour, malty and toffee notes followed by a creamy sharp pine and pineapple finish. Very Nice! My aunt used to live in Wandsworth. She would see Frank Bruno jogging in the morning and say hello. This beer is the epitome of the New World taste, big hoppy bitter bad ass mofo. Happy beer days, I’m on a roll. RichTheVillan (8160) - Birmingham, West Midlands, ENGLAND - APR 20, 2013
Bottle from Cotteridge Wines; clear amber pour with substantial white frothy head, zesty citrus hop aroma, citrus hop in the taste with apricot, piney, bitter. really good APA.
