Taste is a mix of spicy grass and pine, slight orange and lemon notes into lots of caramel, toffee, hints of earth, finishing fairly bitter and dry.

UPDATED: JUN 7, 2012 Tap @ brewery. Clear, light golden orange appearance with a white head. Citrusy hoppy, toasty, light caramel malty aroma. Fairly citrus hoppy forward, dull toffee, caramel malty flavor. Maybe the most citrusy amber ale I’ve ever had but it’s not bad.

RSRIZZO (2032) - Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA - MAY 25, 2009
Had on tap at Rocky Mountain Brewery on 4/7/09. Color is a dark amber with moderate carbonation and a thin but tight head. Aroma is a big malty scent. It starts with a medium body that goes down crisp but has a creamy feel to it. Finish comes in malt with a light sweetness followed up with a touch of bitterness on the end. Ibn the after taste the malt fads as the bitterness builds a bit. This is a well balanced easy drinking Amber.
