3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 15/20
Tasted this at the 2012 Brew Week in Athens, Ohio. Pours a clear gold with a thin white head. Smells are very faint of hops and wheat malt. Plate is interesting. Light body with a crisp feel and it almost has a spice that warns the mouth. Medium sweetness. Very good light beer that I would like to get more often.
UPDATED: JUL 23, 2014 Tap. Pours crystal clear golden straw, small white had, decent lacing. Aroma is grain, grass, hay, corn. Flavor is the same, sweet and corn syrupy, a bit of grass bitterness. Light body. Meh. pottygok (548) - Ohio, USA - JUL 22, 2014
Aroma: Hints of malt and yeast, but very faint.
Appearance: Pale straw with white head.
Taste: Light sweetness straight through.
Palate: Light (no?) body, slick watery texture, soft carbonation, no finish.
Overall: Yech...microbrew for the non-micro crowd, I guess. It’s better than having Bud Light on the tap, but still... BVery (10510) - Plymouth, Minnesota, USA - FEB 17, 2013
UPDATED: DEC 29, 2013 Tap at the brewpub. Light fizzy yellow pour with a fluffy white head. Grainy, very light, very simple. Pretty dull. jmikolich (1477) - North Ridgeville, Ohio, USA - MAR 5, 2012
on tap at RRBC, super light (obviously) and grainy.. too little of everything going on here, would like to try this side by side with another golden, but i’m sure this is the lightest one out there.

UPDATED: AUG 17, 2014 Pretty tasty considering what it is. +++ Sampled on draft at the brewpub this beer poured a pale yellow-golden color with a large foamy white head that lingered and left great lacing. The aroma was faint grassy and perfumey hops with a tangy undertone. The flavor was tangy with a light perfumey, grassy and floral hop presence. The finish was long, tangy, bready and citric. Tasted to me like the old 1970’s lagers I grew up on. Dogbrick (13010) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - SEP 13, 2010
UPDATED: NOV 18, 2010 Sample at the brewpub. Pours a clear yellow-gold color with a thin and fizzy white head that burns away quickly. Spotty lacing. Grainy malt and herbs in the nose. Light fizzy body with sweet malt and lightly herbal hops flavors. The finish is clean and sweet with a short grain aftertaste. Forgettable intro beer overall. baraciisch (3234) - California, USA - JUL 1, 2010
Faint aroma of pils... Pale yellow color... Flavor is nothing special, but it’s probably better than your typical miller or bud, crisp flavor but definitely forgettable... JaBier (7972) - Capital City, Ohio, USA - JAN 11, 2010
Sample at Rocky River. Clear yellow pour with a big white head. Creamy sweet malt nose with hardly any hop. Flavor is the same. Yep, it’s a light beer. SrSilliGose (3331) - pouring bus, New Brunswick, CANADA - DEC 21, 2009
pours a clear yellow with a medium creamy white head. some nice lace. notes of bread, toast, grass, hay, harbal hops, biscuity malts, czech hops. crisp and refreshing. a bit watery, but okay if you are looking for something to chug.
